My mule deer bowhunts are my favorite hunt of the season; every hunter has had the hunt of a lifetime. We do multiple stalks each day. This last season our biggest buck won the APOS archery mule deer of the year award. Every year one or more of our guys has opportunity at a buck over 200 inches. My personal best is 215 non-typical.

Our Mule Deer archery hunts are a bow hunters dream. In our hunting zone, Peace River region of Alberta, Canada, mule deer have been on a limited draw since 1997 which has increased deer numbers and added age to the bucks. We see mule deer in bachelor groups, as many as 15 in a bunch, feeding on bloomed canola fields or oats. These bucks bed in the fields in midday, giving the hunter an excellent spot and stalk opportunity or to position a climber stand for a push.

We should be able to do a couple of stalks a day and sit in the evenings for at least a 170 class mule deer. I predict that we will be putting some new mule deer in the top ten in the next few years.

Send us an email or visit our website for more information.
We only offer four hunts a year on private land so there may not be availability due to rebookings but if you want the best archery hunt in Alberta give us a call we do have cancellations from year to year.

Willow Creek Outfitters is located in southern Alberta. Join us on a fair chase hunt for whitetail deer, mule deer and black bear. Enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Rocky Mountains and the abundance of wildlife around you.

Trophy mule deer are our specialty and we offer both archery and rifle hunts. These hunts take place in the prairie and foothill regions that have been widely known to produce trophy class bucks.

The areas we hunt have a very high population of mule deer. The quality of the bucks is a direct result of good management, where resident rifle hunters must draw a tag. It may take up to four or five years for a resident to draw a tag but fortunately non-resident hunters hunting with an outfitter have a guaranteed tag and do not have to draw.

Archery mule deer hunts start in the beginning of September just when the bucks are shedding their velvet and continue through to the middle of October. This is a great chance to harvest a solid trophy Pope & Young buck. At this time of year the bucks have virtually no hunting pressure due to low numbers of resident bow hunters. We will be hunting a mixture of agricultural and native grasslands. Bucks will usually be in bachelor groups and will have a very patternable feeding and bedding routine.

Rifle mule deer hunts take place during the last week of October or first week of November when the bucks are still in their regular feeding routine. The season will continue on until the end of November letting us experience all stages of the rut. These hunts are done mostly by spot and stalk where we will cover the country by pick-up and foot. At times we may use horses depending on the area we are hunting. The hunt can be booked as either one or two hunters per guide. During the last half of November the rifle mule deer hunt can have a whitetail tag added to it (depending on availability) and you can experience hunting both species in the heat of the rut.

I live in the heart of our hunting area which allows me to do extensive scouting and get access to key hunting areas. I will be doing some of the guiding myself along with a few other competent guides. We pick guides that we know will deliver a quality experience to our clients. Our knowledge of the mule deer country will put the odds in your favor at harvesting a fine trophy.

We will provide you with a hunt of a lifetime that will create long lasting memories and will strive to find you a true trophy and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Alberta Archery Mule Deer & Whitetail Deer

Our spot and stalk archery Mule deer hunts take place in farm land, fringe, and the deep woods, by stand hunting, spot stalk, and driving many bush roads. We hunt both private and forest land. We have taken 189 in velvet last year and other years previous. This style of hunting has been very exciting and is a great mix with stand hunting in the afternoon for the whitetails. We set up our whitetail stands along side alfalfa, pea, barley and wheat fields because in August and September they are feeding with no pressure. We spend a lot of evenings in late July and August out spotting these deer and setting up trail cams.

We take 2 groups of 4 hunters in late August or early Sept before all the waterfowl hunters are out shooting and disturbing the patterns of these mule deer.

Our lodge boosts all the amenities of home. Your accommodations include 2 hunters per room with 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We also have full cell phone coverage, wireless internet, and satellite tv. In the evenings, we also have plenty of room to socialize.

Read my deer hunting testimonials and references on my website before booking a hunt as I am proud of our past history to provide many trophies for our clients.

Our whitetail deer and mule deer bowhunts are conducted on private land from our 2700 square foot lodge near Edmonton, Alberta during September and October.

Our mule deer hunts produce top end mule deer ranging in the 150 "P&Y to 180" P&Y with an average deer scoring in that 165" P&Y range. Although these deer are not real wide they are very heavy and extremely tall. Mule deer hunts are spot and stalk with some tree stand use, which seem to produce the best results. We use trucks & ATV's to get you to the various areas.

Whitetail bowhunting in our hunting area is excellent. You will have experienced bowhunting guides who know how to put you on trophy whitetails. The trophy potential is unequaled anywhere in Alberta. Whitetails range from 130" P&Y to the 200" P&Y mark with the general average of around 140" P&Y. Tree stands will be used exclusively on deer trails and food plots on private land with little to no hunting pressure.

We hunt the best "buck to doe ratio" zones in Alberta. Our 75% return clientele speaks for itself. By managing our areas, being very selective in the harvest of animals, and taking only a limited number of hunters, our goal has been achieved - high success on trophy whitetail deer and mule deer.

Be sure to check out our photo gallery for more information about our hunts. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Alberta Wilderness Adventures provides top quality mule deer hunts to clients who not only want success but also want a thrilling and fun filled hunting vacation.

By hunting the prime times only I have been able to consistently offer 100% opportunity to my clients. Bucks into the low 30s have been taken but an average runs from 22 inches to 30 inches. This class of buck will have 4 to 6 points per side and on occasion a few with 7 points on a side.

The early part of the season in Sept. is a prime time hunt before the large bucks have seen any hunting pressure. These velvet bucks are easily caught feeding on alfalfa fields or clover patches along old logging roads and clearings in the wooded areas. The other prime time to hunt your trophy is late Oct. and Nov when the bucks are in the rut. For the larger bucks on this later hunt patience is required as the rut tube and rattling are our favorite methods to tag these monster bucks.

Our hunting camp is designed for comfort and hunting. Heated cabins with bunks and mattresses, a hot water shower, a cookhouse with a cook and great food, all set in a spacious setting. For added spice an evening campfire will be blazing for those who wish to trade tales of their days events.

I care about you and your hunt so I don’t take endless numbers of hunters in over hunted areas. My permits are limited giving everyone excellent chance at tagging their trophies.

Whitetail deer bowhunts and mule deer bowhunts
We are now offering deer bowhunts! Our bowhunts take place in September and October when the deer are still in their bachelor herd and there is an excellent chance of shooting one in the velvet. The deer are coming out to feed on the green crops and are very easily patterned at this time of year. If this is what you have been looking for, then look no further! Together, we can make this dream a reality!

Rifle whitetail & mule deer hunts:
Hunting huge mulies in the peak of the rut is every hunter's dream. Together, we can make this dream a reality! Picture yourself in a heated tree stand overlooking rich farmland, rolling hills and river bottoms. It's November: cold, snowing, the rut is in full swing and dawn is breaking. Out of nowhere he appears - the trophy of a lifetime and now the rest is up to you! If this is what you have been looking for, then look no further!

One of our main attractions for both our rifle hunts and bowhunts is exclusive access to over 70 quarter sections of (deeded) private property. Limited hunting pressure, a good food source, plenty of cover and exclusive access are all keys to a quality hunt!

We are extremely proud of our past success rate and of the quality of the trophies taken! Our guides know what it takes to produce top quality trophies and they have consistently proven themselves season after season!

hunting outfitters trophy pictures
Bent Arrow Outfitters offers the finest in quality bowhunting adventures for trophy whitetail and mule deer. We are bowhunting specialists and truly enjoy guiding other bowhunters. We have the knowledge and expertise to guide you to a successful whitetail and mule deer hunting experience.

This is the perfect opportunity for a bowhunter to take a bowhunting trip of a lifetime. Take advantage of the expertise of a seasoned successful bowhunter / guide as you hunt for your trophy whitetail or mule deer. The hunting area is in the North Central region of Alberta north of the town of Barrhead. Mature deer are taken here every year that exceed the P & Y minimums with the potential for 150 class whitetail and 160 class mule deer or better. Although not recommended, this hunt may also be booked as a single species hunt for either deer. Hunts dates will typically be early September when both species are still in their summer feed patterns.

Hunters will have the benefit of hunting with guides that have lived and hunted here all of their lives and know the area and the deer intimately. Hunters will have the choice of hunting in the early part of September or late October.

Hunting will be from well scouted, and carefully placed tree stands or ground blinds. Hunting at the end of October will include rattling sequences for whitetail deer. Combo whitetail and mule deer hunt days will normally consist of morning and evening stands for whitetail and mid-day spot and stalk hunting for mule deer. Living and hunting in or near the areas where the bowhunts will take place allows the guides to scout year round to stay on top of deer movements and habits.

We believe that by keeping the number of hunters in camp low, our guides are able to look after the small details thereby providing you the hunter with a quality, personalized, enjoyable hunting experience.

We look forward to hosting you on your whitetail or mule deer hunting trip. Please visit our website or email us for more information.

hunting outfitters trophy pictures
Mike's Outfitting Ltd. is an Alberta big game hunting outfit owned and operated by Mike & Jen Ukrainetz. Mule deer are truly our specialty and bowhunting is our passion. We not only have a high multiple shot opportunity but a very high kill success rate. We know how to get you close to big deer stalk after stalk. We range find almost every single shot for you

Mule Deer Bowhunts
Bowhunters on this quality hunt get first crack in August and September at the giant Mulies that live in the limited rifle draw areas of the northern Peace River country. We have built much of our reputation since 1994 on getting bowhunters big mule deer. We did this in the prairies of Southern Alberta. Now we have moved our operation to the north where the mule deer bowhunting is even better. We are able to use a whole variety of tactics on these deer, spot and stalk, pushes and stand hunting. You can expect shots in the 30-50 yard range, with the occasional under 25 yard shot.

I firmly believe this is one of, if not the best, mule deer bowhunt in North America. There are some huge bucks and they are generally not very wary. The bucks are also not easily spooked from their favorite farm crop food sources at this time of the year.

Mule Deer Rifle Hunts
Alberta is one of the premiere spots in North America for big mule deer and this is the best location in Alberta, the Peace River country. It went on a limited draw a few years ago and it has been getting better and better every year since then. It has even surpassed the prairie area of Southern Alberta where we built our reputation for killing big deer. You have a very good chance to kill a 170 to over 200 inch deer and you can hunt for 5 to 9 days long depending on the hunt you choose.

In the rifle season you have your choice of hunting the deer in their bachelor groups in September or in the rut in November. The season opens September 17 when we go after the biggest bucks that we have seen throughout our summer scouting and the bow season. We generally get the deer right out in the farm fields or in the nearby river drainages. The ones that we don't get usually resurface in the November rut.

If you want to have an excellent chance, 50% to 75%, to go home with a good, big deer we encourage everyone to shoot the first solid 180 inch deer they see. We have some huge deer but the the odds go down quickly once you hold out for something a whole lot bigger than the 180's.

Give Mike a call or send him an email. Be sure to visit our website and view pictures of some of our mule deer hunts in our photo gallery.

Stalk’em Rock’em Outfitters is located in central Alberta Canada. Owned and operated by Brent Butterfield who has been in the business for 15 years. During this time I have clients that have hunted with me for 10-12 years in a row, and still hunting with me at this time. Being a smaller business we are able to spend more one on one time with our clients, in return reflects upon having higher success rates and harvesting quality animals.

We hunt on private land beside the Red Deer River valley, which is known for huge Mule Deer. Our methods of hunting consist of spot and stalk, and the occasional pop up blind. Mule Deer are hunted with the rifle in the month of November during the rut.

The average antler size of bucks we harvest is 165” B.C., with chances of taking a 190”+ B.C. Most years there are bucks harvested in the area scoring 200”+ B.C., true monsters. The body sizes are above average when compared to a lot of places, with a mature buck weighing 275-325lbs + on the hoof.

If a Monster Mule Deer is on your list, come Stalk’em Rock’em with Brent.

We offer top quality mule deer hunts in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. Our deer hunts are in secluded areas where there is little hunting pressure.
We hunt mule deer all of November when the rut is on and the big bucks are vulnerable. We also hunt mule deer in early September when they are not bothered and can be easily hunted on their patterns. There are a lot of nice size deer in our area and we try to focus our hunts on 170"+. If you are patient there is always a chance at a bigger trophy.

Our hunting is mostly done from hunting blinds on tower stands that are set up in advance after scouting by myself and experienced local guides. We can also do some walking and calling or hunt from a vehicle if you prefer. We strive to find and use the spots that have very few or no other hunters.

During the November deer hunt we stay our lodge in Grande Cache, Alberta which has close access to our hunting areas. You will be very happy with the food and accommodations. We are completely devoted to giving our best effort to make your mule deer hunting trip an unforgettable and successful one.

Our area has a large population of whitetail deer. Whitetail can be added to your mule deer hunt to make a great combination if you want a chance at going home with two trophy's.

Rifle and archery hunters can also combine mule deer hunts with other hunts such as elk, moose, black bear and wolf during the early season. At Extreme Wilderness we take great pride in offering a complete wilderness experience.

Join us at extreme wilderness for an adventure of a lifetime. Contact us to reserve your spot and dates you prefer.

   South Peace Outfitters

hunting outfitters trophy pictures
The Peace River Region of northwestern Alberta has always been recognized for the big bodied, large, dark racked mule deer bucks that hideout in the numerous river valleys in the region. The resident tag limitations and recent, unseasonably mild winters are ensuring that the reputation will never be forgotten!

We offer only three of these highly sought after hunting opportunities each season. Our tags can be hunted by bow hunters in the archery only season when these big bucks can be found feeding and resting in the wide open, yellow flowered canola fields where they spend much of their day. On a good day, several spot & stalk opportunities may be presented. Bowhunters can also maximize their experience by booking our Bowhunters Dream Combo Hunt.

Hunters can also bowhunt or rifle hunt with these Alberta mule deer tags in the rut season of late October and November. When the big bucks are in the rut they come up out of the river valleys and join with the herds of does and smaller bucks. Mule deer bucks will travel several miles a day looking for or tracking a “hot” doe. Most of the hunting is spot & stalk, but some hunting from blinds and stands is also utilized in certain conditions.

This Alberta mule deer hunt makes a great combo hunt with moose or whitetail deer. Consider a 10 day hunt upgrade to maximize your hunting experience.

South Peace Outfitters offers guided archery and rifle Alberta hunts for black bear, moose, elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, wolf, coyote, & waterfowl in the Peace River Region of Alberta, Canada. All tags are guaranteed (no draws), book your hunt now by visiting our website or calling us direct.

Our mule deer hunts are conducted in our Southern area. This zone is well known for big mule deer bucks and we feel very fortunate that we have some allocations in this WMU. We have a very good mule deer population here with good habitat and few predators. We hunt our mule deer mainly on the alfalfa fields and along the coulees and draws.

We use ground blinds quite a bit for hunting the mule deer as well as some bush drives. We also have success along the river bottoms as they seem to spend time in these areas in between feeding on the second growth alfalfa fields.

Our mule deer hunts are a lot of fun for our hunters because most people can not believe how many deer they will see while on their hunt. It is not a strenuous hunt and can be enjoyed by all ages.

This hunt also lends itself well to a combo hunt with whitetail if you would like to take more than one trophy while on your trip. It is very possible on some of our locations to see whitetail deer while waiting on that big muley buck to show himself.

Most years we will harvest mule deer in the 170 class with possibilities to take bucks that will score into the 180’s or better. Once again while you are on your hunt you will stay in a comfortable hunting cabin on our farm and eat our delicious home cooked meals. These hunts are 6 hunting days and the rifle season opens November 1-30.

Please contact us for more information and to secure your spot!

We offer trophy mule deer bowhunting and rifle mule deer hunts with Experienced hunting guides who know how to kill big mule deer.

Mule Deer Bowhunts:
We have a high kill success on huge Pope & Young Class Mule Deer with several opportunities for almost every hunter. Resident bowhunting pressure is practically non-existent. We offer exciting spot and stalk hunting with close encounters with P&Y bucks almost daily.

Bowhunters on this quality hunt get first crack in September and October at the giant Mulies that live in the limited rifle draw areas of the open prairies. You can expect shots in the 30-50 yard range, with the occasional under 25 yard shot. We have figured out the best techniques to get even novice bowhunters with no stalking experience quality shots at Pope and Young class deer. It's not usually very hard to get within bow range. Hunters with us for the first time should take the first shot at any 150-class buck that presents itself, while repeat hunters - or those on 1 on 1 hunts - can consider hunting specifically for a 160-170+ buck. We can take 12 hunters in 4 zones which are all good but vary slightly; call to see which areas are available for your hunt.

Rifle Mule Deer Hunts:
We offer the rifle hunter an excellent chance for a 170 to 200 score buck, heavy horned with 24-30" spread. We have a 90-100% success rate and can see as many as 50-80 bucks in 3 days. We have thousands of acres of open, rolling country to hunt with very few trees and your guides know how to score deer on the hoof.

Alberta is one of the premier spots in North America for big mule deer especially in the prairies. You can expect to do quite a bit of walking and some driving on public and private lands. Most of the deer are taken at less than 250 yards, but shots over 300 yards are not uncommon. These deer do not migrate in or out of the hunting area. We bowhunt the area throughout September and October, so we know just what the quality of bucks is come November. We have harvested large bucks during all four weeks in November, so come when it is most convenient for you.

Our Mule Deer hunts take place in the Rocky Mountain foothills of west central Alberta about 3 hours southwest of Edmonton. Our area has an excellent deer population with the trophy potential being very high. The area is a combination of valley bottoms and steep side hills. This kind of terrain that is perfect for mule deer and a chance at a mature buck is very possible.

We concentrate our hunting efforts using a spot and stalk method. We will do plenty of glassing to find the deer and then stalk in on them for the shot. Hunters should be in fairly good shape for this hunt as there will be quite a lot of hiking involved over some steep terrain. Some hunters may have the opportunity if they desire to hike to higher elevations above tree line to try for one of the large bucks that stay up high until the snow pushes them down to lower elevations. This type is extremely physical and is not for everyone but the rewards can be excellent. To be successful hunters need to be patient and trust their guide. These hunts take place during the rut and we are very confident in our area and our staff. This time of year can get quite cold so we use only top quality equipment to make you as comfortable as possible to maximize your time in the field and your chance for success. Give us a chance and you won’t be disappointed.

We also offer a limited number of early season bow hunts for the archery hunters out there. Hunt out of comfortable tree stands as well as some spot and stalk.

Both these hunts can be combined with White Tail deer, combinations are limited and taken on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in a combo please don’t hesitate to contact us as they go quickly.

We take a limited number of hunters each year to ensure a top quality experience for all of our hunters. If you see something you like and would like more information please do not hesitate to call.

Our vast hunting area encompasses a diverse range of Mule Deer habitat from the irrigated prairie croplands to the rolling foothills and the high grassy ridges of the Rocky Mountains. This unique corner of south-western Alberta has become a popular spot for those looking for trophy class mule deer taken with a bow or rifle. The areas high population of deer, great genetics, mild winters and large tracks of privately owned land combined with a limited draw management program has created some of the best mule deer hunting there is!

Bow hunts are held during the month of September when the bucks still in their bachelor herds and coming out of the velvet. This provides hunters with an excellent opportunity for spot and stalk or stand hunting.

Mountain mule deer rifle hunts begin in mid October. These horseback and tent camp hunts are a great way to experience mountain hunting at it’s finest. Last year our biggest buck of the season was a great 194 6/8 buck.

The foothills and farmland rifle hunts take place during November during all stages of the rut. If hunters are patient enough, they will have an excellent opportunity of connecting with a trophy class buck.

All hunts include professional experienced guiding, home cooked meals, accommodations, trophy care and transportation to and from the Calgary International Airport.

We have 5-day mule deer hunts and Mule Deer/White Tail combinations which are run out of tent camps in the mountains. These hunts are two on one, but one on one can be arranged. These hunts are in very high, rugged terraine and our results have been excellent on big mule deer. These five day hunts are late season hunts running from the lst week of October through the end of November. If we have black bear permits available, we can add them to the hunt.

For those that want a bit more luxury, we also offer a mule deer and mule deer/white tail combo out of the ranch. It is still a horseback hunt in high country, but you come back to the ranch at the end of the day for a glowing fire, hot showers and all the comforts of a log lodge.

I offer mule deer hunts in WMU 338 in the foothills region of Alberta, 75 miles west of Edmonton. The area covers about 1200 sq. miles and consists of 85% forestry and 15% agricultural lands. The terrain varies from flat to gently rolling foothills. There are many creeks in the area, which drain down to the rivers. Many of these creeks drain from huge muskeg bogs where the deer make their home. I live and hunt in the area and have access to many private lands and crown land. There is minimal hunting pressure from residents in the archery season.

The current B&C world record mule deer was harvested in the area. It was a long time ago, but you know that the genetics will still be here to grow some horn. Our mule deer hunts are a spot and stalk type of hunt, as well as tree stand hunting in transition areas, and in feeding areas. We like to offer the mule deer hunt as a combo hunt for a trophy fee. It is also a great hunt for your wife or son/daughter. There is some pretty good mule deer hunting in the area, they seem to inhabit just certain pockets because the whitetail have taken over a lot of the area. So we concentrate our hunt in these places where the muleys hang out. Expect to see muleys in the 125-160 range.

You will be picked up at the Edmonton International Airport upon your arrival. We will them come out to the camp, which is also my home. There are two log cabins here to stay in. They are quite comfortable with excellent amenities.

I am an avid bow hunter. I live where I hunt and live to hunt. Hunting and wildlife have been a passion of mine. I enjoy meeting people, and working with them. That is why I am in the outfitting business. Contact me for more information and to book a mule deer hunt with Moose Row, Inc.

We love Alberta Mule deer hunting and we enjoy showing others why. We feel very lucky to have made new friends each hunting season for over 20 years, and to have shared with them, the beauty and excitement that Alberta mule deer hunting has to offer.

We specialize in creating personalized combination hunts in the Rocky Mountains, foothills and prairies of southern Alberta. We are proud of our reputation for excellent trophy quality, top notch guides and high success rates. We have guaranteed Alberta mule deer hunting licenses, meaning there are no draws to enter

Our prairie deer hunting is a three-day combination whitetail and mule deer hunt. Although some good whitetails are available, these areas are best known for their trophy mule deer, which are our priority on this short hunt. Hunting pressure is controlled by licence quotas, enabling us to consistently produce big bucks for our clients. The terrain consists of prairie grassland, grainfields, coulees and river bottoms.

Our mountain zone hunts begins in late September. For the early season hunts we will often combine mule deer with black bear, elk or moose. The most productive time to begin hunting whitetails is the last week of October, when they increase their pre-rut activity making their scrapes. This is when we begin to hunt whitetail deer and mule deer together on our popular six-day combination hunt. The season continues through the rut, to the end of November.

The mule deer hunting in Alberta is second to none and so is our reputation for exceeding our clients' expectations. Many of our clients will see more true trophy mule deer bucks on one hunt with us than they have seen in all their previous hunting trips combined.

If you’d like to book a mule deer hunt or find out more information about other hunts we offer, please visit our website, send us an email or call us.

Mule Deer Hunting in Alberta

Mule deer are found throughout Alberta. Several bucks harvested in Alberta are in excess of 240 Boone and Crockett points and the world record for non-typical buck was taken in Alberta and scores an impressive 355 2/8 B&C points and in 75 years has yet to be beat. The provincial record for typical mule deer scores 206 B&C points.

Mule deer bowhunting seasons in the boreal forest and foothills zones begin in late August and runs through late October; in the mountain zone the archery mule deer hunting season begins in late August and ends in late September; In the Parkland and Prairie zones archery for mule deer hunting begins in late September and runs through November. Rifle mule deer hunting begins in mid September and runs until the end of November in the Boreal, Foothills and Mountain zones and in the Parkland and Prairie zones, mule deer hunting rifle season runs through November . The rut takes place in early to mid-November and typically continues until the end of the season.

Mule deer prefer a more open, less tree-infested type of terrain. The coats of mulies are gray brown for the winter months and reddish brown for the summer. They have white patches of hair on their rump and a tail that is mostly white with a black tip. Their ears can be over a foot long and provide excellent hearing. Reaching adult size at around three years and living to 16, bucks can weigh up to 250 pounds (does are smaller).

Mule Deer can leap up to ten feet in the air, run up to 40 mph and change direction almost instantaneously. They have excellent hearing, keen senses of smell and a superb sense of sight in both daytime and nighttime conditions. These animals usually feed during the day and don't move too much. This makes mule deer hunting a real challenge.

Many outfitters will combine whitetail deer and mule deer hunting trips. Mule deer hunting is popular during the rut because bucks are exposed in the open more during the day because of the constant running after does. The best strategy for mule deer hunting is glassing with binoculars and then stalking to shooting range.
