Lost Guide Outfitters is a small but Very Experienced operation, we have been in the outfitting business for over 20 years and have lived, ranched, trapped and hunted in this area for over 40 years. The areas we hunt are the upper Clearwater River valley, Lost Guide Lake and Forbidden Creek. It is bordered on the west by Banff National Park, home to some of the most beautiful big game animals in the world and to the south by the Ya ha Tinda Ranch which is one of the largest elk wintering areas in western Canada. As motor vehicles are banned from this area our clients are transported to and from camp by team and wagon. It is a very enjoyable and scenic 15 mile trip from where we leave the vehicles. Saddle and pack horses are provided for day hunts and fly camps, or if you prefer to hunt on foot there are excellent opportunities to take a trophy in close proximity to camp.
