Cougar (Mountain Lion) Hunts with Cougar Outfitters Ltd.

Cougar Outfitters has been in business for over thirty years. Our clients have taken 16 B & C cougar, two of which were in the top 10. The largest cougar taken by one of our hunters scored 15 14/16. Numerous others have made Pope and Young.

Alberta is on a quota system and Cougar Outfitters has five (5) non-resident cougar permits. Most of our hunting is done on lease property with limited access or in the forest reserve. The season runs from December 1st through to February 28th for a 10-day hunt. If snow conditions are favourable, the success rate is normally 100%.

Cougar Outfitters provides comfortable accommodations in a ranch house setting west of the city of Calgary. The hunt includes transportation to and from the airport, accommodations and all meals.

The eastern slopes of the Alberta Rockies provide some of the most magnificent scenery in the world and we are 60 miles from Banff National Park - a skier's paradise!

• The cost of the hunt is in US funds and does not include licence and allocation fee.
• 20% deposit required to confirm booking
• No booking valid until confirmed with deposit receipt
• Deposit not refundable
• Balance of payment due upon arrival
